Lianna Squillace is a sound designer, media producer, and writer currently based in Los Angeles.

Lianna studied music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts before moving to Chicago in 2013, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Audio Design and Production from Columbia College Chicago in 2015, and her Master of Arts in Sound Arts and Industries from Northwestern University in 2019.

Lianna previously held adjunct teaching positions at both her alma maters, where her course load covered topics such as audio theory and production, analog and digital signal flow, and the art of sound design for film.

Lianna has worked as the Sound Designer and Re-recording Mixer for such acclaimed independent series as the Emmy-nominated Brown Girls, Webby Award honoree Menace, and the Oscar-shortlisted documentary Stay Close.

Lianna relocated to Los Angeles in 2020, and since that time has worked as a mixing and broadcast engineer for American Public Media, supporting the nationally broadcast radio programs Marketplace and Marketplace Morning Report, as well as the Make Me Smart podcast; for LinkedIn, as a Senior Audio Engineer on the LinkedIn Learning content production team; and presently as the mixing and mastering engineer for the hit podcasts My Favorite Murder and This Podcast Will Kill You at Exactly Right Media.

Her additional interests include immersive audio storytelling, women in STEM, and generative music composition.
